tornadoes ravaged the midwest and the south. an indiana toddler found in a field didn't survive her injuries. >> right now a massive cleanup effort is under way even though most areas are still without power or cell service. but there are also stories of survival. terrell brown has more from henryville, indiana. >> reporter: people in henryville, indiana are working together distributing water and sifting through donated supplies, food and clothing as they start to rebuild their lives. >> we're a tight knit place and we pull together when there's tragedy. >> reporter: two tornadoes hit henryville friday. one of them packed winds in excess of 165 miles an hour. the cleanup is under way but it's going to take time and henryville school officials are trying to figure out how they'll finish the rest of the year. the elementary, middle and high school complex was destroyed. it's the weather that could complicate cleanup efforts. winter weather watches, advisories and warnings are up across indiana and kentucky. up to four inches of snow can fall here in henryville. in west liberty, kentucky, util

indiana. that's a warm front lifting this way. we're going to get in on some of that this afternoon. the ohio and tennessee valleys between i-70 and i-40, that's where the highest risk is going to be today. you know people out there, call them up. let them know they have a severe weather threat for possible tornadoes and large hail. that risk gets into our western area for late tonight, toward tomorrow morning. that threat for some of those stronger thunderstorms. today on the future cast, the clouds roll in this afternoon. the showers follow here. by 3:00 especially out in west virginia and ohio. by 4:30, 5:00 we've got rain most areas so i think the afternoon, evening commute will be a slower, wetter ride home. overnight we watch the showers and storms push through. tomorrow 5:00 a.m. maybe the heaviest stuff already south and east of us with some luck. by midday southern maryland still a few showers but the rest of us will be doing much, much better. the forecast then today we're going to be in the mid- to upper 50s, maybe near 60 with the afternoon and evening showers and storms

coming into western ohio, indiana, kentucky. temperatures in the 30s. spots like the east end and culpepper. fredericksburg 3, this morning here in washington 42 degrees. here's our michael and son weather camera. visibility feeling like 42 with a south wind at 8. actually looking at the wind chill with the barometer at 30, 4. temperatures mid-40s now. 60 for nashville. 62 in little rock. look at all this warming shooting up even to chicago at 54. this mild air is going to be with us for the entire week going way north of town here up into canada. this is the storm system showers and storms all the way down to the gulf coast. this system will come through us with broken showers tonight into early tomorrow. the clouds will watch those, just some highway thin ones coming our way through midday. here we are at 5:00 p.m. showers over toward pittsburgh. that is a few passing showers here and there, in the overnight into tomorrow morning, tomorrow sunshine returns through midday. in the afternoon we may pop a shower and even a stray thunderstorm. today upper 60s, might even get to 7
